ESCENARIOS PLEGADOS, PAISAJES VIAJEROS…

El resultado es siempre una abstracción de aquello que le dio origen, una representación de una presencia indeterminada que prolonga la estructura del paisaje urbano en unos dibujos más allá de categorías. Pero, ¿y si queremos mantener y utilizar la referencia inicial como parte de la presentación? Esto sólo puede describirse a través de la experiencia directa de lo real desde el espacio que lo contiene; ¿una condición del pliegue? El concepto aparece en las formas preexistentes que son marginales o secundarias respecto a las referencias más visibles, y ese será el primer atributo que permita entenderlo como partes de una estructura significante, sustentada sólo en lo concreto de su presencia.

The result is always an abstraction of what gave rise to it, a representation of an indeterminate presence that prolongs the structure of the urban landscape in drawings beyond categories. But what if we want to keep and use the initial reference as part of the presentation? This can only be described through the direct experience of the real from the space that contains it; a fold condition? The concept appears in pre-existing forms that are marginal or secondary with respect to the most visible references, and this will be the first attribute that allows us to understand it as parts of a significant structure, supported only by the concreteness of its presence.
